তারকেশ্বর এক ছোট্ট শহর। এক পুরোনো ঐতিহ্যের প্রাচীন শহর। যার ইতিহাস ধীরে ধীরে হারিয়ে যাচ্ছে। রাজধানী শহর, বড় শহর বড়োলোক বাপের আদুরে সন্তানের মতো। তার ইতিহাস ধরে রাখার কত আয়োজন। ইন্টেরনেট খুঁজলেই তাকে নিয়ে কত তথ্য। আর তারকেশ্বর এর মতো ছোট শহর এর কাহিনী পরে থাকে ঘরের এক কোনে অনাদরে। তার পরে ধীরে ধীরে এই ছোট শহর গুলোর পাতা গুলো ইতিহাসের বই থেকে হারিয়ে যায়। এই ২০২৪ সালে খুব কম জনই তারকেশ্বর সত্যাগ্রহ সম্বন্ধে জানে। খুব কম জনই জানে রাজা ভারামল্ল, এলোকেশি, অমুলচন্দ্র ভাদুড়ী, ইত্যাদি। বিলেতের নামী সংবাদপত্র সানডে গার্ডিয়ান এ তারকেশ্বর এর উল্লেখ হয়।
আমরা তারকেশ্বর এর গর্বিত সন্তান। এতো সহজে তারকেশ্বর এর পাতা গুলো কে ইতিহাসের বই থেকে মুছতে দেব না।
সেই উদ্দেশ্যে এই ডিজিটাল আর্কাইভ টি নির্মিত হলো। এখানে তারকেশ্বর নিয়ে লেখা রিসার্চ পেপার, থিসিস, নাটক, পেপার কাটিং, হাই কোর্টের অর্ডার সব জড়ো করা হয়েছে। আমাদের পূর্ব পুরুষ দের জমানো ফিক্সড ডিপোজিট গুলো এই ডিজিটাল আর্কাইভ এর মাধ্যমে আমরা তারকেশ্বরের ভবিষ্যৎ প্রজন্মের হাতে তুলে দিচ্ছি। কেউ যদি আগামী দিনে আমাদের ছোট্ট শহর নিয়ে রিসার্চ করতে চায় তার জন্য এই পেজে আমরা চিঠি লিখে গেলাম। হয়তো এই চিঠি যেদিন পড়া হবে আমরা থাকবো না। কিন্তু কোনো এক কোনে আমাদের ভালোবাসার স্পর্শ রয়ে যাবে।

Tarakeswar is a small town. But it has a rich history and cultural heritage. Normally research materials related to big cities are easily available. Unfortunately, small towns like Tarakeswar are always neglected. Due to lack of archiving, negligence, etc slowly the pages of the small towns are lost from the history book of time. Being the proud daughters and sons of Tarakeswar we can not allow this. We can not forget our history. We can not allow our history to be lost in the flow of time. So in this page we want to store our ancestral property to handover to our future generations. In this page we are trying to record and archive research papers, books, novels, drama, newspaper cutting, relevant court orders, thesis/dissertation, etc The work is not complete.
